I wonder if it will be nice to have the word "Moderator" printed next to the username/ranking when a moderator of that forum, make a posting?

Good for new user to quickly know the moderators. And also good if there is new moderators, etc.

Don't know... try it and find out ... FWIW, there are also "special ranks" that can be used to indicate status. These replace the merit ranks based on the number of posts, e.g. JForum Team is one of this.
