hai,

I have to use JForum in a development environment using eclipse.
I am already working with eclipse 3.0, JForum 2.1.4, j2sdk1.4.2_05,Tomcat 5.0.x

But I get a problem saying "import org.jboss could not be resolved" in JBossCacheEngine.java and few other errors.

Can you tell me the following ?
1 The checkout parameters for CVS (for Jforum)
2 Additional jars required to Compile the whole version (if you have time to answer this)

thank you

Path /cvs
Server Type pserver

Module jforum

I tried it out with Eclipse as well as WinCVS, but it wont checkout it seems!
Am i doing something wrong here? bcoz I get time out request while connecting to CVS!

I am badly in need of the checkout version!

I am still not able to checkout the version!

Whatever I use WinCVS,command-line CVS or Eclipse is asking for password!
and when I enter without the password, it says "Request TimedOut"!

Guys I need your help!
I know that it is weekend; but someone might feel happy to help me!

expecting reply

OK, I'll take a look in the data - but I guess it's correct

Hai,

Did you find out the problem?

May be some more input might fix the issue!
I am working from behind a proxy server in my intranet!
Does this have any implications on using the CVS server ( like, machines behind a proxy or firewall are not allowed entry into the cvs.dev.java.net ) ?

I am still waiting for your answer! :?

hai ,

I have posted a similar problem in this forum!

Luckily I got the solution !

Problem: unable to checkout from behind the proxy server of my intranet

Solution: find out the content to be filled in your "Proxy server" setting of IE.
This would be usually 172.*.*.* and port 3128.
Check with your Network administrator.

I have finally checked out the version !
