URL rewrite?

Hi,

I use a .htaccess file with apache mod_rewrite and mod_proxy to access the jforum on my tomcat. The tomcat runs on port 8080.

But if I want to login in jforum, the url will rewrite to the tomcat webapp with port 8080 and not to apache path.

Is there someone, who does use this way?

kind regards,

F.O.

edit jakarta-tomcat-5.5.9/conf/server.xml
add there to
<Connector port="8080" address="127.0.0.1" ... />

these parameters

scheme="http" proxyName="www.yoursite.com" proxyPort="80"

this will make tomcat thinking it is runnomg at www.yoursite.com.

See tomcat documentation for details
