The initial post was from me. I'm not sure what the error was, but its gone when restarted the server.
While installing, I specified the forum path to be: http://<domainame>/forums, However, after installation, when i typed in http://domainname/forums, nothing came up. It came up when I typed in http://domainname/jforum. I want to change the url to: http://domainname/forums. If i just change the context path, will that do? it didnt work for me though!!! I installed on JRun4, it said "Successfully Installed, click here to access the forum", but when I clicked on it, its going nowhere except the wheel spinning forever. When I checked the JRun4 logs, it shows this message:
01/16 17:50:26 error When submitting form page, the username or password was null. This is usually because there is no j_username or j_password on your form login page.
What is the problem?
Thanks in advance!! [originally posted on jforum.net by Anonymous]

That looks like an error that comes from the application server. It looks like you configured container based authentication. [originally posted on jforum.net by mortis__rigor]
