Hi there,
is there a complete user manual of JForum available or planned.
I see that you already use Confluence for documentation, but no user guide is available there.
I have some problems in configuring everything because there is no manual for the admon control center.

In fact, documentation should be improved a lot. So far, all we have is in Confluence.

Here's the deal: post your questions here, and we'll try to answer them, adding to the wiki page as well.

Hi there,
now I have a Login for the JForum Community,
so I will not be Anonymous anymore ...

Ok than ... here some questions:

1. We plan to use JForum for our company as User Forum,
but only registered users should be allowed to post and read messages.
I have done this by removing the "Anonymous" from any group.
This works fine so far. But I also want to only let users register to the Forum that are accepted by the Admin. Before the Admin (me  ) don't give his OK for this user, he can't read and post messages.
Is this possible?

2. Some of the options in the Admin Control Panel are not clear.
What does following mean?
(Maybe you can make an example for what I can use this options)
- Karma : Will the Karma influence the number of stars ?
I thought this is also influenced by the number of posts.
And is a rate of 1 the best rate or is the 5 the best rate ?
(ok I think I found the answer by testing it here in the forum:

Sorry ... your answer was not a one star answer there ...
but maybe I did not understand it until now ...

That's it for now ...
Thanks for your help in advance.

Maybe you can use the activationkey that is used for email verification, except email the notification to the admin first, then have the admin forward the email (if needed) to the user, or just fulfill the registration and notify the user. Am I making sense?
