Forums not showing up

I just did a fresh installation of JForum 2.1.6 and tried to add a few forums. Unfortunately, they aren't showing up in the forum index or in the forums view of the admin section. However, oddly enough, they show up in the lists when I try to set permissions for the groups.
Is there some cache that I need to flush in order to get these forums to show up to everywhere else? Maybe I'm missing something really simple.

Thanks in advance.

Okay, I changed the view permissions for the Admin group to something else and then back again. The forums showed up correctly after doing this. My guess is that there is a minor bug in which the settings for this group aren't updated properly.

When you created the forum did you try to deny access to a group?

There is a bug (just reported it in Jira this morning) in this section of the code that causes the deny permission to be stored, but does not create any of the allow permissions (including the admin group). Re-saving a group's permissions will add in this missing forum access permission.
