Hi,
might be the wrong place to put this post. In which case I apologize.

Have just installed the latest JForum and got this error, when trying to set the permissions on a group. I have checked the database and the table jforum_role_values is there.

For detailed error information, please see the HTML source code, and contact the forum Administrator.

Unknown table 'jforum_role_values' in MULTI DELETE

Query being executed when exception was thrown:

DELETE jforum_role_values FROM jforum_role_values rv, jforum_roles r WHERE r.role_id = rv.role_id AND r.group_id = 1

What DB server / version are you using?

I've seen this in some server that have a schema or owner associated with tables and the table is not "owned" by the application user id.

Also, some DB servers can be configured in non-SQL standard modes that allow for case sensitive table names (SQL Standard specified all identifiers are case-insensitive). It could be that the table was with a different case than the query.

Hi again,
I am using MySQL 5.0.37 on linux. I Just ran the rpm with no special installation configuration.

I will check the tables ownerships.
