Hello Forum,

I have just installed JForum on our website: impressive! Less then an hour work to get this up-and-running. (PS i had to add a jboss-web.xml in our case)

My question: we use Google Analytics on our site to track the site statistics, and it would be nice if we can activate this also on JForum. It was really easy to activate Analytics on our site: all jsp-pages have an standard include on every page with some default stuff. We put the Analytics activation code there, and all our pages are tracked. If JForum is set up in a similar manner (i did not look at that), it would be a simple property (the activation code) and all forum pages will be tracked. If it would be that simple i can ask our developer to have a look at the sources and create this function. Would JForum appreciate such an enhancement?

Or.... of course, is this wheel invented already? I did some searching, but then i missed this possibilty.

The solution as i understand is:

In the SystemGlobals.properties a property needs to be added:

In the header.htm there should be added the following before </head>:

As you might see, i don't know much about the scripting that is used in JForum, but this seems to be it!

Anyway i have now entered it manually (without the logic) and it seems to work (i will be able to see the results in a day or two in Google)
