Hi,
I was having trouble installing version 2.1.7b3 because of write permission problems to the configuration directories. For the life of me, I was not able to figure out the permissions issue even though I ended up trying to make the files and directories writable by Everyone. So, I switched to configurating manually as described in the Manual Install web page. I have a problem with the last steps.
There was never a new_rename.htm file created during the instructions for manual manual set up.
When I try to access the index.htm page, it attempts to find the directory .../jforum/forums/list.page which of course does not exist. What configuration is missing to enable mapping to list.page when I access the index.htm page?
Thanks for your help with this. [originally posted on jforum.net by cszamudio]
