Editable dynamic table

Hi,

good day together.

My problem is somewhat like:
I want to have my data in an editable dynamic table, which can be increased in chunks of rows to accomodate further entries.

Like a orderform where you can order just in fixed ammounts.

The JSP has a number of empty rows at initialization. (one row per item)

Now the user fills out these datafields and if he needs further rows he should be able to hit a button which leads to adding a number new empty rows.

The data should be editable directly in the Textfields, not via an 'edit' button and an extra Action.

My problem is:
Obviously the JSP has to build a dynamic table so I use and build a table of fields.

This works fine, but I'm not able to alter the data. Any entries or changes on the textfields are gone.

I guess due to the fact that the iterator used for displaying the data doesn't allow to access and alter the underlying data object, oncee the jsp is rendered.

I'd appreciate any input!

We have a forum devoted to Struts which would be a better place for this question. I'll move it there for you.
