works fine on our windows workstations
but when we deploy to linux server we get mostly correct behaviour
but the characters ő ű in lower and uppercase work fine in post titles but revert to '?'
in post bodies.
any ideas anyone ?

what database did you use? I am using mysql. initially i also face this problem. Multi-language postes can not be shown correctly. just change my.cnf file. [mysql] default-character-set=utf8
# The default character set that will be used when a new schema or table is # created and no character set is defined default-character-set=utf8
then it would ok shortly.
BTW: i guess this is not bug for jforum.

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
subject: utf-8; hungarian characters work in post title, but fail in post body
