Hi All,

I wonder if there is any documentation or sample code describing how to delegate user management to jForum.

I would like to have application users register, authenticate etc with jForum and then access that information in my java webapp, any pointers would be greatly appreciated,

BM

Not exactly sure what you're after here. But I'll give it a shot.

The quick and dirty way to access JForum user info would be just to go straight to the DB tables. The table structure isn't that hard to understand. Just look at jforum_users for most of the user info and jforum_user_groups to get the group membership.

A more complicated alternative would be to integrate the Data Access Object layer packages into your application and use this to get "official" jForum entity objects.
