Hello Raffael,

first of all thanks for implementing such cool and brilliant forum!!

I am currently evaluating jforum against phpbb 3.0. phpbb has a very good feature comparison on their homepage. I actually wanted to compare jforum vs. phpbb hovever I had to realize that this is a very hard job to an "outsider" as it requires learning in detail both board-systems.

I think there are a lot of other users interested in jforum and it would be very(!) helpfull to have a full feature list for jforum. Ideally such a feature list should be based on the list provided by phpbb as they are the "defacto standard" for forums. Furthermore this would make jforum look much professional (!) as the featurelist is much more comprehensive than the current one on the jforum site that just mentions some "high level" features!

best:
http://www.phpbb.com/about/features/

(would also be ok)
http://www.phpbb.com/about/features/compare.php

My question is, would it be possible that the jforum team creates such a list (taking all the feature from the phpbb 3.0 list) and publishes this list on the homepage of jforum?

(This would help evaluation jforum very much and a team member of jforum might fill out such a list in quite s short time as the most likely know exactly which feature is supported by jforum and i think the basic list could be copied direclty from phpbb so only the check-marks/ticks need to be made)

I would also be willing to donate for this feautre request. please state how much dollar such a feautre comparison would be.

thanks
tom

There's one site doing this for JForum 2.1.6
http://www.forummatrix.org/show/JForum
You can use it as a base.
And check the release note for some new feature in 2.1.8.
