strange encoding problem, subject right but not the text

Hi,

I've just installed JForum 2.1.8 on JBOSS 4.2.2 with mySql 5.0.
I've created the jforum database with unicode

The problem is, when I try the same characters both on the subject and in the message body, after submitting, the subject is in correct shape although the (same) text in the body is not. An example of the case is on the attachment.

Any help?
Thanks.

PS: The only difference I see is the post_text field type is TEXT and post_subject is VARCHAR (in jforum_posts_text table). Is this a problem with TEXT type?
