After implement the SSO, I think "my profle", "member listing" are no longer exist at the top of menu because user no need to edit their profile in the JForum.
So, I would like to ask how to hide these setting, any parameter to control the setting ?
And I find that I can change the layout from the template (header.htm) . But is it a correct method because if the user enter the direct link, they can get access the edit profile page directly.

There is no switch to turn this off. As you said, you can edit the links out. If you want to security it further you can modify the UserAction methods for these pages, e.g. list(), edit(), and editSave(). I think for edit, you may need to allow administrators to access this.
