Sid's correct, there is no post processing option built into the attachment upload process... however, if your server is using an anti-virus program that is scanning all files created (like a normal workstation does), then this type of software should catch the uploaded virus files (and quarantine them).
This may cause some jForum errors because the expected file is not there... but that's better than distributing virii. [originally posted on jforum.net by monroe]
