I really miss this two features: joining or spliting a topic.

I am willing to look at the source and try to do the development, but I have a few questions.

-Are these features in Jforum 3 ?
if not should I try to add them on jforum3 (if released anytime soon) or is there a point working on jforum2?

Is there any on going development on jforum2 ? a 2.1.9 in preparation ?

I doubt that there will be a 2.1.9... unless there's a good Samaritan that fixes a lot of the issues and supplies it. I know Raphael, et al is concentrating on 3.

I don't think this is on the feature list for 3.0... basically the problem is there's just so much work needed just to migrate the current features to the new structure that "new" features are low priority.

Maybe 3.1... (or sooner, if you do a good implimentation that Raphael likes)...

I did the work myself then on 2.1.8
I still need some testing, and there are some limitations.

I would be more than willing to share it after some testing. How could that be possible?
