Hi, I do not know why this exception occurs but replaced my code with the original jforum 2.1.8 and is still happening. Someone you miss this? or could it know it?

This is actually a bug in the error reporting code... see your app server log or use the patch here:

http://www.coderanch.com/t/578221 #19661

to fix it and see what the real error is.

Hi, thanks for answering, but that's not my problem, the exception is throws in /forums/list.page and
the forum works perfectly, but it throws the exception, before seeing your response I tested my web project in another computer, a laptop, and this dont throws exception. The only difference between the two computers is the version of java. The computer that throws the exception has the java version 6update13, the other computer that works well has installed the java version 6update7. Could this be the problem?.

All that proves is that the underlying exception which is hidden by the bug in the error code is not occurring either under different JVMs or some config is different between the machines.

That error message is from a problem in the way that jforum handles parameter parsing which surfaces in error condition handling.

Hey, thanks, I guess that the old version of Java that doesn't catch the exception. Only occurs at startup in / forums / list.page, but the forum works fine. I guess that will have to remain so, because the patch
http://www.coderanch.com/t/578221 #19661 in this case does not work. Thank you.
