Hi,
I couldn' t get the code from the CVS. Am getting error as connection timeout.

I assume you're talking about the 2.1.x code... Just keep trying... java.net servers are notoriously overloaded and have poor up time / response times.

FWIW, development on the 2.1.x version has pretty much closed out and the source distro available via the download is the exact same thing as the CVS version.

FYI - The 3.x version development has been moved to Google Code's SVN repository which is much faster/nicer. See: http://www.jforum.net/doc/JForum3SourceCode

Please re-read what I wrote... it's possible but not always reliable.. you may have to try multiple times.

All the access info in is the documentation under the Development section.

FWIW, if you are using Eclipse, this is notoriously problematic with large CVS repositories like java.net's. It tries to get information on ALL of the 1000s of projects. Try using just the command line or other tools. These can go directly to the jforum module without caring about the other projects.
