Smilies are not displayed, problem with Jboss maybe?

Hello everybody,

in my soon-to-be-productive environment smilies are not displayed within the posts. In fact an empty image-tag is delivered:

Jforum 2.1.8
JBoss
Oracle 10g

In my local environment (Tomcat 5.5.25, MySQL) it works fine.

The folders are in the right, same position, SystemsGlobals.properties are identical, the images can be retrieved using their full URL in the productive environment.

Ist here a known problem with Jboss or is there any other place for me to look for first?

Thanks a lot for your help.
