Password Reset Via Email

I have installed jforum. Regsitered a user and was able to login as that user. Then, tried to reset the password by using "Forgot Password" feature. Email arrived, clicked on the "reset link", entered new password. Then, tried to login with the new password. It says "invalid". Any configuration that I might have missed?

however, if I reset the password for this user thru admin console, i am able to login.
