I am sorry if I am not supposed to post this question on this forum.

Is it possible that we can use Java Swing to build GUI and display on Web pages - Web as a desktop, such as, we can open many GUI on web just like we open GUI on computer Desktop ?

I would like to rephrase the post.

I would like to know if it is possible to use Java Swing to build GUI and launch GUI inside the Web, but not outside the Web , the web just like a desktop. Users can ionize GUI and the icon GUI will
stay inside the web.

Using Java Web Start application, users can move GUI to outside the Web page and moving around on the computer desktop which is not what I want.

Thanks

Hi there, there is a technology called Java Web Start, but I don't know if you want some like that.

It is possible..

With a portal type server you could offer your users a GUI rich experience.
