about salary of java developer in india(etc.) after 2 years

Asked by one of friend who is employee of some company works in java

How much package will a Java Devloper get having two years of experiance in "J2SE, J2EE, Web Services with Hibernate"
having present salary around 2.7(indian currency) in india
and
what more he should learn to set with good package into Java Industry in india. (also guide about other countries too)

Some of my known say that 2 year expertise = fresher ?

I dont agree with this. I am about to complete 2 years of work experience and I am not equivalent to a fresher. There might be few exception freshers who are good, but as I said those are exceptional cases.
Being in industry for quite sometime is lot different than someone joining afresh.

Once someone has worked for about 2 years, he/she would have got some fair bit of expertise in few of their areas of work. They can strengthen those areas. But again depending on which company you would work for, you would have to pick the technologies they use.

2 years is definitely not equal to fresher. See the Salary trends for IT companies in India.

It also depends on how well you impress your interviewers with the relevant experience, skills, and performance at the interview. Good companies realize the fact that Do you have real 4 year experience or the 1 year repeated 4 times
