Hello Kirk,

...since architecture changes can have serious impact on
(legacy) software, how would you suggest it's best to introduce
your books ideas in an existing environment?

Would it be a gradual refactoring exercise or is it better to
perform a big bang approach...or something in between?

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
