It sounds like you are trying to uninstall some Eclipse plugins which you do through the IDE. The exact way to get to that menu varies by version of Eclipse, but it is under the "help" drop down. Something like "manage configuration."

have a look, I deleted folders rather, smoothly uninstall from within eclipse...
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
