Hello all,

I am interesting about sending SMS via my desktop Java application. To be honest, I don't know anything about Java mobile technology. But I heard there are some free API's which do the work without the need of Java Mobile technology. Can someone please direct me to the correct way by providing resources? Thank you

You need to sign up with a provider (so it's not free); search for "bulk sending SMS". Access is mostly via HTTP.

Thanks a lot for the reply Tim. I am pretty sure I need to learn at least few parts of Java Mobile to implement these....
So, gonna learn some Java Mobile

You don't need to learn anything about mobile phones in order to send SMS in this way. You need the phone number to send to, and the message text. And a credit card to pay for it :-)
