Red underline? So I assume this is in an IDE? Does the IDE not tell you what the error is?

I have little patience with IDEs. Does the web app work? What error messages do you get when you deploy it?

In the servlet declaration, the servlet name is missing the ending t. That causes the servlet mapping to refer to a non-existing servlet.
