As we know iText is not a open source now, can anyone tell me what is the best alternate for iText to merge pdf through Java

iText 2 (which is licensed under the LGPL) should be able to do this. Alternatively -if merging PDFs is all you need to do- check out PDFBox.

I am trying to through PDFBox, but i dont get any link or java code which is using merging pdf through PDFBox API,

If you have can you please provide it, it will be really greatful for me.

If you are looking not only for open source but also commercial alternative to IText, I suggest you look at our developer tools at Qoppa. jPDFAssemble would be the library for merging pdf documents.

There is a code sample in our KB.
