Hi. I installed JBOSS 7 and it ran okay. Then I installed ant and set the path and built a war file, but when I tried to start up JBOSS I recieved an error that said "findstr" unrecongnized comand. Can anyone please help me with this?

Hello Karl,

The findstr is available in windows/system 32. This has to be set to the Path variable in your windows PC, (if this is not available the error will be thrown as following "'findstr' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.")

Note: you can check the system and user variables by typing SET in your PC in command prompt.

Now try again in another command prompt. This must work.

Thanks and regards
