Are you talking about post request in servlet context? In that case, there is a different forum for Servlet/JSP technology. You can request forum admins to move your post there (instead of creating a new thread).
As far as I know there is no actual defined limit to what you can send using HTTP POST requests. However, some servlet containers/app. servers may allow you to specify a certain limit. For example, Tomcat uses a 'maxPostSize' parameter to define the amount of bytes of the POST body (http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-7.0-doc/config/http.html).
