Where can i get jdk 1.4.2_01 Zip file to Download?

Hello everyone,

I want to download jdk 1.4.2_01 Zip file for our project. i have searched in java.sun.com but i am getting .exe file not zip file. So, any one can please help me to download zip file.

I don't think the JDK was ever distributed as a zip file. And more importantly, why would you want a JDK that has been obsolete for years? You should use JDK 6 instead.

why you need zipped version of jdk 1.4 ? i suspect maybe there is policy in your project/company that you cannot download exe files. in that case you have to raise some kind of ticket. if there is any other reason please mention
