How to perform connection pooling using JTDS

I don't think connection pooling is in any way related to the driver you are using.
So any where you find information about connection pooling will be relevant.

jTDS supports ConnectionPoolDataSource if memory serves, if you want to hook it into a servlet container or app server. I'm sure you can find the class name of the pooled connection class in the documentation.

Alternatively, Apache Commons DBCP is a common choice for the pool implementation.

Do i need to write JAVA code also to estiblish the connection using JTDS from shell script, as my below code is giving error :
