Hi,
My home work is develop chat server and client application in swing. What are the pre-requirements develop this kind of application. give me some links or material and how many days it will take to finish task(it depends on my learning skills but if i learnt all the required things then)

Ok, I know swing and applet what else i need to develop this thing. Is there any third party jar files i needed.
