Hi !
I am interested in learning about Java EE 6. I have a SCJP 1.6 certification already. I dont know if I should start preparing for the Java EE 6 certification or if I should learn other things before I go for the certification exam. Please advise me.
Is there a big difference between Java 5 EE and 6 ?

Just a tip, with regards to high-level thinking on this.

When I had such issues, I estimate 'if, by finishing the older certification, will that java/jee version be obsolete or unmarketable as a skill by then'?

If the answer is yes, take the new route. If the answer is no, just proceed with older version.

I wouldnt worry about catching up with the future versions. They are usually easy to pick up once you know the previous version. Those 'big change' version-changes are big issues to clients too who buy servers and stuff, so it will take a little more time before market picks it up, and you have time to catch up.
