I have a web-service method setup to return a string message to the client and is working without any problems.
But when I try to do a specific operation in the webmethod, it doesnt seem to take any action on those lines of code. Is there anything specific I need to take care in web-methods?

I am new to web-services so no clue on what may be wrong.. can anyone please help?
Here is the web-method I have:

I am always getting a return value of "InWork" to my client. I have tested the getStatus method in a standalone java project and it is working fine. Is there anything I need to take care
of in the SOAP message handler?
