Making a Virtual Drive Program in Java

i was wondering is it possible to create a virtual drive using java and if so can you tell me how i can do it? thanks
ps this is probably in the wrong place and if it is sorry!

No. Java doesn't have APIs at that low a level. Java's APIs start on top of the existing file system. You'd have to do all the real work in native code.

can you tell me how i can do it?

Why would you want to reinvent the wheel when there are already quite a few good virtual drive programs out there?
