Perhaps the docs will help:

Since ClearCase costs $$$, IBM should provide you with support, at least to help you get it installed...

Or the NetBeans docs. IBM is going to have good support for Eclipse. As the NetBeans plugin developers are from Sun, I don't know how much help IBM will be.

What specific problem are you having with the plugin? Installation? Connection?

And welcome to CodeRanch!

I wasn't aware that it costs $$$! I was struggling in getting the particular ClearCase client connected with the Netbeans IDE. I have decided though to go with Git, which I believe is less complex and more modern than ClearCase. This one is available in the IDE already, which makes things easier. Thank you for offering your ears guys and its an honour to be on CodeRanch!
