Hi,

I have one big page, this page is divided into three pages,

-- first one is some fields, when we click on the next button
-- second page will be displayed, here also have some fields, fill these and click on next
--- Third page will be displayed all we selected and filled fields (combined all pages together) and say finish. then finally we need to enter data into database..

I know we can do separate applications and we can transfer data through session tracking, but it could be little bit more work.

Can you suggest me any idea to manage form fields through different pages? anything is available in struts 1 ?

Please someone help me to get rid of this.

thanks

Thanks,
Kumar

Have a look at our FAQ, How to Ask Questions on JavaRanch, in particular, Patience is a Virtue.
I read your post hours ago, but I'm at a loss to see anything that can't be solved using a session, which you mention above. Maybe you need to Tell The Details (again, from our FAQ).

you can put the data in session and finally submit all the data to database.
if you do not want to use the session, save data the temporary tables and finally save the data to actual tables.

you could keep states between pages using hidden fields, compounding objects between requests and responses.
