I'm trying to migrate an app that runs on JBoss 5.1.0 to JBoss 7.1.1 .

In JBoss 5.1.0 I was using a SAR to start-up the Hibernate Service (org.hibernate.jmx.HibernateService). However, in JBoss 7.1.1 this doesn't seem to work as JBoss complains on :

12:18:33,768 INFO [org.hibernate.util.NamingHelper] (MSC service thread 1-16) JNDI InitialContext properties:{}
12:18:33,773 ERROR [] (MSC service thread 1-16) MSC00001: Failed to start service jboss.mbean.service."jboss.jca:service=HibernateFactory,name=HibernateFactory".start: org.jboss.msc.service.StartException in service jboss.mbean.service."jboss.jca:service=HibernateFactory,name=HibernateFactory".start: JBAS017222: Failed to execute legacy service start() method

Any ideas are appreciated.

Thank you.
