On my application server machine ,I have done drive mapping using specific user.
But with web application running on Tomcat I am not able to access this drive because tomcat runs as a windows service and not with user which has the actual access to drive mapped.
So i want know how to run web application on tomcat server with specific user.

Tomcat itself is an application and therefore it runs under a user ID of its own. Reckless people run it under an administrative/root user ID. Security-minded people create a special ID just for Tomcat.

Since Tomcat is a multi-user system it has to have security privileges that are the greatest common denominator of all the Tomcat users as used by the deployed webapps. Per-appuser environmental characteristics such as drive mappings are not possible, however because Tomcat doesn't attempt to virtualize an entire server OS.

Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.
