scrollPane.getHorizontalScrollBar().setValue Problem

hi, i want setValue to the end of the scrollBar. but fail.

here is the code, result is picture1

		setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
		setBounds(100, 100, 450, 300);
		contentPane = new JPanel();
		contentPane.setBorder(new EmptyBorder(5, 5, 5, 5));
		setContentPane(contentPane);
		contentPane.setLayout(new BoxLayout(contentPane, BoxLayout.X_AXIS));
		
		scrollPane = new JScrollPane();
		contentPane.add(scrollPane);
		
		table = new JTable();
		table.setModel(new DefaultTableModel(6,72));
		table.setAutoResizeMode(JTable.AUTO_RESIZE_OFF);
		scrollPane.setViewportView(table);

but, but , but it is successful when i type this code twice.

Are the scroll pane and its content realized at the time you call getMaximum()?
