What is the difference between "debugging and runnning" a file on a server, as both give the same result ??

While the context of the question is not clear, presumably you're talking about an IDE. Debugging would normally attach a debugger that allows you to set breakpoints, amongst other things.

Yes, I am sorry for my question being not clear. I mean debugging & running through an IDE like netbeans or eclipse.
