can we get output as xml file when we run the client webservice program

Hi to all,

i am new in web services.

when we create wsdl file from web service server program then we access that wsdl file in client program.
but when we run the client web service program can we get the output as xml..

please help me.

Do you mean you want to trace the SOAP request that is sent to the webservice from the client application?

Hi alan,

Not for trace, if we execute web service client application we getting output right?

that output can we get as xml file.

i have to use that xml file in linux box to get output.

SOAP is XML

If you want "pure" XML, without the SOAP envelope, then you should consider REST or trap the SOAP XML
and strip everything except the <response> and pass that on to the client program to process.
