i would like to know what is the difficulty level for learning spring. how much time frame will be required for learning more than basic knowledge about spring. what book will you recommend for a beginner. also after the beginner stage which book will be recommended for intermediate stage. thanks in advance
I used Spring In Action to learn Spring. I highly reccommend it
Initially, when I started 3 years ago, I was trying to learn Spring by example (by that I mean I was googling around the internet to get solutions) which is horrible way to learn Spring. You need to understand how DI and AOP works, otherwise a lot of things in Spring appear magic. Spring In Action does a good job of explaining that.
