Hello friends , i want to learn about web services , and i also does not know about what is web services and how we use it and how we create a web service . i create a application using core java , servlet 3.0 and jsp 2.2 , and my friend is the android developer , he also want to create android interface for application , he asked me to provide the web services for android aplication , but i don't know what is web services and how i provide the web service or how i create the web services . so please suggest me where i start from web service

If your friend wants you to create a web service -even though you don't know what that is- shouldn't he explain it to you?
