Using JavaScript in android web client

Hi i am designing an android app for a java web service for an airline reservation system similar to Emirates app.Since the API i was provided with does not have an option to retrieve the destinations (OND)
which they fly to,i need to dynamically retrieve it for my first screen using a JavaScript file on their website .i have searched the internet for a solution but all of them use webViews .But as my first screen would be a form i do not think I can use a webView for it .Please tell me if the webView method is only way to do so.Also please let me know if any further info is required.Thanks in advance.
