The beer topic has not been deleted. Only the hijack has been removed -- don't hijack any more topics.
Also, there is a big difference between having a theological discussion and preaching. The first is on a short leash because it can degenerate. And the second is one of the possibilities of what it can degenerate to. The coderanch forums is not a pulpit, please stop.

You have to start with this to read about the Meaningless Drivel forum. If you think you cannot follow the forum or why it is about, you can visit lots of other forums and learn from the discussions going on.
Its advisable to keep preaching off the Coderanch forums.

If you feel the need to discuss your personal religious views, then please go somewhere else. There are plenty of other places on the Internet where you can do that.

Got into a very heated debate. Lot's of violations of the "be nice" rule. Lots of complaints via the report button. Moderators had enough. Deleted most of the heated posts (actually, all of the recent posts, heated or otherwise).

Ok!! But that thread is too funny!! They have reached middle ages. I just wish they do not go to pre-historic period with a mug of bear in hand. I mean just a mug of bear in hand. We still do not know whether they(prehistoric junta) knew brewing or not!!
