[Newbie] Are there layers when drawing images on the screen? (drawBitmap() )

Hello,

I have one question about drawing images. I use drawBitmap and when there are 2 images almost at the same place, one is above the other one (one is in the background and on in the foreground). Is there any function which I can use to set which one will be in te foreground? I mean sth to manipulate with, let's say, layers.

Thanks in advance for help.
