Hi everyone,
I'm looking for manuscript reviewers for "OCA Java SE7 Study Guide" by Mala Gupta.

The review is internal and it consists of reading available chapters, trying out source code examples and answering a list of questions from our editors. It will start in a couple of days and last three weeks.
Reviewers will get a complimentary book copy and be acknowledged in the book when it gets published.
If you'd like to participate or need more information, post here or message/email me.

Thanks!

Hello Ozren Harlovic,

I would like to participate in this.

However, I would like to mention that I've never done any book review before (however, I've got descent experience of reading books )

Also, I've got a full time job, so I would like to know what kind of work it will be - like how much time the reviewer is expected to work every day.

Thanks.

Regards,

I would also like to be part of review team. i'm very fond of reading books specially technical books. also i have same queries like Ayonkar regarding the work i have to do and time duration i have to spent since i also have a very hectic full time job but i'm willing to take time and be part of review process.

The technical review is basically carefully reading a computer book and answering 20-30 questions about it, with some extra time devoted to trying out source code examples. It can take from an evening or two to many days, especially if you choose to make a lot of comments on your own. We would naturally like the reviewers to invest as much time in the review as they can spare, but we will also find value in a short or partial review.

I would like to put this on my resume - I was just fired too so I have some time. Consider me in.

Thanks everyone. I have enough reviewer candidates now, even had to turn a few down. Sorry about that.

Saloni, I expect the book to be available this Autumn but I will post again if I get different or more precise information from our production team.
