google - Their docs writers are a bunch of dorks. Go look at their docs. I can't believe they get paid to write such trash.

Arnold, if you aren't willing to read documentation or other information which you search out on the web, you'll find you don't get very far in the programming business. Relying on forums to help you out every time you have a question just isn't a practical strategy. You might as well quit now and look for a different career if that's going to be your attitude.

I have read some oracle java docs too. They are good - unusual.
Try doing what I am doing, maybe you might have similar problems too.
But that still doesn't change the fact that the writers at google are bozos.

We all have pretty much the same kind of problems. Your reply about Google's docs writers was in the context of a question you posed and a reply given. In that context, your reply can easily be taken as unreasonably dismissive, so that's why you got the reply you got from Paul. I just shrugged and decided I wasn't going to let it bother me; I have enough of that stuff already. I'm sure you're probably not a jerk but it sure came across that way in your reply, in the context of this thread.
